Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Data Center Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, implement new technologies, and optimize system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Data Center Operations:
  • • Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networks, and cabling.
  • • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network components.
  • • Collaborate with IT teams to implement new technologies and upgrades, and ensure seamless transitions.
  • • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of data center infrastructure configurations and procedures.
  • • Participate in regular maintenance activities, such as patching, backups, and monitoring.
  • Service Delivery:
  • • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their technical requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
  • • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT managers and business leaders.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • • Continuously monitor and evaluate system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve existing processes and infrastructure.
  • • Develop and implement plans to reduce energy consumption, costs, and environmental impact.

Requirements

  • Education:
  • • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • • At least 1+ years of experience in data center operations, IT infrastructure management, or a related field.
  • Skillset:
  • • In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networks, and cabling.
  • • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies, such as VMware, Cisco, and Microsoft products.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is $$61,800 - $95,400 per year, depending on location and experience.
