Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity.
  • Provide nursing care to patients, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly, including progress notes and medication records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Perform and document patient rounds to monitor patient condition and provide updates to the healthcare team.
  • Report changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse and other healthcare team members.
  • Assist with specimen collection for diagnostic testing, as needed.
  • Prepare documentation for patient transfers to other institutions or facilities.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance patient care skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • CNA Certificate or CNA State License required.
  • BLS certification required.
