Job Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support the Atlanta VA Health Care Center. The successful candidate will provide nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients, assisting physicians and nurses with diagnostic examinations and patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with diagnostic examinations, including monitoring vital signs and preparing patients for tests
  • Provide nursing care to patients with complex physical and behavioral problems
  • Use good communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues
  • Comply with infection control policies and procedures
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Enter patient information into the Computerized Patient Record System
  • Perform direct patient support work, including personal patient care and basic education
Qualifications
  • California-licensed as a CNA
  • Experience in hospital nursing
  • At least two years' experience as a CNA
  • Capable of providing nursing care for adult medical and surgical patients
  • Current BLS certification
  • No health or physical disability restrictions

All candidates must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift. They must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist and carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
