Position Overview

Salary: $14-$20 per hour based on experience

Ninja Training Specialists Needed

Intown Stars has recently unveiled an expansive ninja training facility, featuring a state-of-the-art ninja rig, balance and agility courses, warped walls, and much more, all within a dedicated 5,000 square feet.

We are committed to fostering a culture of learning and leadership among our staff and students. Our coaches are trained to instruct using our established 12 Teaching Principles. This role offers a part-time opportunity with competitive compensation and numerous avenues for professional advancement. We seek enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about working with children and possess a positive demeanor to lead recreational ninja classes. Ideal candidates will exhibit high energy, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to our mission: Kids Like it Here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly classes/groups of students throughout each season, utilizing a blend of provided curriculum and personal creativity to facilitate skill development in parkour.

Qualifications

AGE: Must be 18 years or older

EXPERIENCE: No prior ninja experience required; training will be provided

Desired Skills and Certifications:

  • Strong verbal communication abilities
  • Positive, energetic, and cheerful attitude when interacting with staff, athletes, and parents
  • Self-motivated with a robust work ethic
  • First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • A genuine passion for ninja activities and a love for working with children

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Capability to plan, organize, direct, and oversee daily operations and safety of the recreation program
  • Knowledge and physical ability to deliver high-quality recreational classes
  • Ability to collaborate within a growing recreation program to enhance quality and expand the business
  • Effective communication skills with parents, students, coworkers, supervisors, and the Director
  • Physical stamina to remain on feet for 3-6 hour shifts and provide necessary support to students
  • Ninja experience is a plus

Schedule Requirements:

  • Availability on weekdays between 3 PM and 7:30 PM
  • Availability on weekends between 9 AM and 2 PM
  • Part-time position

Job Duties:

  • With training, coaches will become familiar with our ninja curriculum to independently prepare and teach 50-minute classes.
  • Responsibilities include setting up and cleaning gym equipment used during classes.
  • Attendance tracking and accurate monitoring of student progress are essential.
