ROLE OVERVIEW:

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure a secure environment, provide emotional and social support, and address the physical needs and comfort of residents. You will deliver direct care as assigned, adhering to each resident's care plan and directives from your Supervisor. Additional duties may be assigned by community representatives. Compliance with all health, sanitation, and infection control policies is essential, as is maintaining the standards of practice established by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in good standing, in accordance with state laws.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum age of 18 years (if 16, must be currently enrolled in high school).
  • Proficient in English with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated capability to execute both verbal and written directives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and community staff.
  • Knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices.
  • Willingness to work scheduled hours as required by the position.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

  • Opportunities for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.
  • Required Shifts:
    • 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
    • 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Hourly Wage: $18.00 - $20.50
    • plus a $3 shift differential for the 3rd shift
  • Sign-on Bonus: $1,250 (applicable for all shifts)
    • disbursed in equal installments at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months of full-time employment
