Healthcare Administrator for Magnet Designation

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Administrator to join our team at PennState Health.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for directing and managing hospital processes related to acquiring and maintaining Magnet Designation, in accordance with ANCC guidance. This includes assessing hospital readiness and compliance status, planning and implementing programs that promote excellence in nursing performance, and guiding leadership regarding their individual areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to enhance Magnet Designation and improve nursing performance.
- Collaborate with leaders to assess readiness and develop plans for achieving Magnet designation.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to Magnet designation.
- A Master's degree in Nursing is required.
- Five (5) years of functional experience in healthcare administration or a related field is necessary.
- Candidates must be currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners.
- Professional certification in a relevant area, such as nursing administration or quality improvement.
- Experience working with ANCC's Magnet or Pathway Designation programs.
