Position Overview:

The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is actively seeking a qualified faculty member in Internal Medicine to serve as an attending physician within the Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Division. This role will be situated at a state-of-the-art diabetes center, which encompasses a comprehensive range of services essential for the management of diabetes and related health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical care to patients while overseeing residents in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Engage in educational activities within the Division, as coordinated with the Division Chief.
  • Contribute to the clinical research initiatives of the Division by developing and managing clinical protocols, enrolling patients in clinical trials, and participating in regulatory oversight for research activities.
  • Represent the University of Kentucky with professionalism as an active member of the medical staff, including participation in medical staff affairs and adherence to evidence-based practice standards.
  • Serve on various committees as designated by the Division Chief.
