Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. This role is responsible for supporting departmental efficiencies by performing scheduling, registration, patient pre-admission and admission, reception and discharge functions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and provide world-class customer service, completing full patient registration at date of service and adhering to financial and cash control policies and procedures.
  • Educate patients about patient financial liabilities and employ proper, compliant patient liability collection techniques before, during, and after date of service.
  • Verify insurance, benefits, coverage, and eligibility, complete assigned registration financial clearance work lists activities, and obtain insurance authorizations for scheduled and unscheduled hospital services.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 0-1 year in a customer service role.
  • 0-1 year administrative experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
  • Some college coursework is preferred.
