About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinarian to lead our Community Medicine team in Los Angeles. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality veterinary care to underserved communities, while also mentoring and developing our team of veterinarians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate and quality preventive and basic care to patients, overseeing all aspects of veterinary care during a clinic day.
  • Lead a team of veterinarians in providing high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter services, as well as other medical procedures.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all team members have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our services meet the highest standards of care.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent.
  • Current California State Veterinary License.
  • Minimum three years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery.
  • Previous people management experience preferred.
  • Fear Free Veterinary certification required within 60 days of hire.
