Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipyard Crew Member at Ocean Havens Marinas. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our historic shipyard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with boat hauling and launching, including cleaning the bottoms of boats when hauled
  • Maintain the machines and equipment used in the facility
  • Perform grounds maintenance and repair docks and facilities
  • Contribute to a healthy, safe, and clean work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate handheld and power tools
  • Able to swim
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to operate forklifts and heavy machinery
  • Ability to operate boats
  • Welding knowledge
  • Woodworking knowledge
