Job Title: Production Technician

Job Summary:

The Production Technician is a key member of our team responsible for ensuring the efficient and high-quality processing of medical cannabis from harvest to packaging. This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the post-harvest processing of medical cannabis, including trimming, drying, curing, weighing, packaging, labeling, and recording.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict sanitation and quality control standards.
  • Transport harvested plants to drying and hang to be dried, ensuring optimal plant health and quality.
  • Hand trim and/or operate a trimming machine to remove guard and/or sugar leaves from medical marijuana.
  • Weigh, package, label, and record medical cannabis for distribution, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Receive instructions and assist on tasks as delegated by the management team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Work in a quick and efficient manner, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain a culture of professionalism and service, ensuring a positive work environment and excellent customer service.
  • Ensure daily compliance with policies, including state compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
  • Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure.

Requirements:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a production position, including hands-on production activities.
  • General knowledge of weights and measurement.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain work consistency on a daily basis.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Standing/sitting for long periods of time.

Additional Abilities:

  • The job requires physical activity, including prolonged sitting, standing, repetitive bending, climbing, and lifting or moving up to 10 pounds (or more with a coworker). Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive motions with accuracy is required.

Work Environment:

The Production Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels and high light intensity. The work environment is designed to optimize plant health and quality, and the employee is expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
