Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Credentialing Specialist to join our team in South Jersey. As a key member of our Credentialing Team, you will be responsible for supporting the onboarding process for physicians and high-level allied health professionals across our health system. Your expertise will be crucial in processing credentialing files, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process credentialing files for providers in all departments of the hospital
  • Conduct research on licensure, past experience, and trainings related to provider onboarding
  • Manage a high volume of files, typically between 20-25, and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless onboarding of new clinicians

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a credentialing specialist or coordinator with provider credentialing
  • Completed Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience onboarding physicians and higher-level allied health employees
  • Experience with privileging employees, appointments, reappointments, tracking expirables, and sanction checks
