Key Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state
- 1-3 years of experience in emergency nursing
- Associates Degree in Nursing; BSN Degree preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 12 months of hire
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care Nursing (ATCN) certification within 12 months of hire
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
- Experience in trauma and critical care nursing
