EquipmentShare is actively seeking a Field Technician for our rental facility to oversee the maintenance and repair of a diverse range of customer and company-owned Pump, Power, and HVAC equipment.

Technicians will have the chance to work with the latest technology in the industry.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime pay available after 40 hours. On-call duties during weekends may be required in exceptional situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to safe job practices while repairing equipment
  • Utilize technology (laptops and tablets) effectively
  • Travel to customer job sites as needed to conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures both in the shop and at customer locations, executing necessary repairs
  • Collaborate with other technicians to set up and operate equipment at various sites
  • Assist in training junior technicians as required
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed (work orders) in a timely manner
  • Facilitate the pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
  • Possess knowledge of OSHA requirements (preferred)
  • Participate in year-round company-provided OEM training
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must possess tools relevant to the position
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools
  • Experience with power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs
  • Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with understanding schematics
  • Exceptional customer service, teamwork, and communication skills

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma; Trade school certificate preferred
  • Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

This position is safety-sensitive, and any employment offer will be contingent upon passing a 10-panel drug screening. EquipmentShare is an EOE M/F/D/V.
