EquipmentShare is actively looking for a Field Technician to join our rental facility team. This role is essential for ensuring the maintenance and repair of various customer and company-owned Pump, Power, and HVAC equipment.

As a technician, you will have the chance to work with the latest equipment available in the industry.


Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime pay after 40 hours. Weekend on-call duties may be required in special circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to safe job practices while repairing equipment
  • Utilize technology (laptops and tablets) effectively
  • Travel to customer job sites as needed to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures both in the shop and at customer locations, executing necessary repairs
  • Collaborate with other technicians to set up and operate equipment at various sites
  • Assist in training junior technicians as required
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed
  • Facilitate the pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
  • Possess knowledge of OSHA requirements (preferred)
  • Participate in year-round company-provided OEM training
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must possess tools relevant to the position
  • Advanced mechanical skills and familiarity with tools
  • Experience with power generators and/or commercial HVAC systems, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs
  • Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading schematics
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma; Trade school certification preferred
  • Field service, maintenance, and repair experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as needed
