About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Optimal Retail Space Planner to join our team at SAS Retail Services. This role will be responsible for ensuring that retailers' store layouts are optimized to enhance the consumer's shopping experience.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain project schedules by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Support retailers in developing planograms throughout category reviews or client initiatives.
  • Communicate business opportunities and recommend action plans with clients, customers, and Business Development Managers.
  • Analyze data, classify information, and prioritize assortment and shelving details to support clients', customers', and company goals.
  • Provide planogram (POG) information using syndicated or customer-specific data sources.
  • Complete product resets.
Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in merchandising and planogram development skills.
  • A working knowledge of syndicated data and applications.
  • A basic understanding of category management.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and ability to ensure high-quality results.
