We are currently seeking a dedicated Taxation Department Supervisor to lead our tax team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in taxation for individuals, fiduciaries, partnerships, closely-held corporations, estates, and gift tax documentation. This role demands strong research capabilities, management experience, and the ability to train and mentor team members. A comprehensive understanding of automated tax processing systems is essential.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Conducting in-depth research on complex tax matters and staying updated on tax legislation changes.
  • Effectively communicating intricate tax concepts to clients and non-tax professionals.
  • Overseeing the preparation and review of tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, including Form 1040, K1s, and various entity tax filings.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing the tax team by providing constructive feedback and support.

Advanced knowledge in finance, financial planning, and investment strategies will be considered an asset. A successful Taxation Department Supervisor will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a leadership capacity while also thriving independently. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are mandatory. This role reports directly to the Director of Tax.

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, along with a CPA designation or Enrolled Agent status and a minimum of five years of experience in a professional services or tax organization.

Compensation: This is an exempt position offering competitive bonuses and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and profit-sharing options.
