Security Patrol Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Patrol Driver to join our team at MSCCN. As a Security Patrol Driver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality security services to our clients in a range of industries, including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the facility is provided with high-quality security services to protect people and property.
  • Perform all required training and have a thorough understanding of all MSCCN and relevant client policies, procedures, protocols, post orders, and emergency response plans.
  • Report safety concerns, hazards, security breaches, and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing.
  • Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with students, employees, and guests.
  • Answer questions and assist students, employees, and guests.
  • Answer phones and greet students, employees, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Operate the main gate post to include access control, checking badges, confirming authorization for access.
  • Verify contractor access prior to entry and perform health safety verification for all who enter the campus.
  • Maintain a high level of visibility and customer service.
  • Patrol the campus to include vehicle and foot patrol.
  • Check and secure doors, perform unlock/lock down procedures, respond to calls for service, and provide escorts to students and employees as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of visibility and customer service.
  • Respond to some specified major emergencies on campus.
  • Work with other campus partners to respond to incidents and other situations.
  • Document incidents that occur during a shift.
  • Enforce parking and issue citations for violations.
  • Provide support for temporary changes in parking and traffic circulation.
  • Serve as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) as mandated by the Jeanne Clery Act.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Be able to obtain a valid Guard License as required in the state for which you are applying.
  • Maintain current active status of all required licenses at all times and must carry the license at all times while on duty.
  • Current state driver's license, clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years), minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test and may be required to pass a Driver's Record check.
