Safety Coordinator Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with site and division EHS teams to ensure alignment with Parker's WIN Strategy and zero-incident goals.
  • Communicate safety progress and expectations to plant leadership and team members.
  • Perform follow-up on Gensuite leading indicators, including Concern Reports, ATS, and Incidents.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and workplace safety training.
  • Coach team members on safety best practices and provide feedback as needed.
  • Participate in incident investigations and safety audit programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with EHS-related training and development opportunities.


Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. OSHA 10/30 hour certification or other safety certifications are preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills are essential for this role.
