Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a CNA 2, you will assist a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients. This is a 0.9 FTE full-time position working on a day shift, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.

Responsibilities
  • Assist RNs in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Perform specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN, including assisting with patient transfers and providing emotional support to patients and families.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning, ensuring that patients and families are informed and prepared for post-acute care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Requirements
  • Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course or CNA 2 coursework: Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
  • Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 1 year experience as a CNA 2.
