Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a CNA 2, you will assist a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Telemetry Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights
  • Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests
  • Assist with client mobility and transfers, using lifts and safe patient handling devices
  • Opportunities for continuing education and professional development, including annual CNA conference
Requirements
  • Coursework/Training Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course Or equivalent educ/experience
  • Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year Experience as a CNA 2
