Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Analytics Engineer to join our team at Apple's App Store Data division. As a member of this team, you will play an integral role in helping us make data-driven decisions to improve the store for users and developers.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets using SQL, Python, or Scala in big data ecosystems. They will also be able to contribute to large-scale quantitative analysis projects, apply research and analytical skills, and communicate insights clearly to different teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Analyze data to spot trends and patterns

- Use findings to give actionable recommendations that help the business grow

- Communicate insights clearly to different teams and stakeholders

- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, or Scala in big data ecosystems

- Contribute to large-scale quantitative analysis projects through all phases

Requirements

">

- B.S. in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering)

">

- At least 5+ years of experience as a Data Analytics Engineer with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

">

- Advanced programming skills in data manipulation & processing (SQL, Python, Scala)

">

- Experience in the big data ecosystem (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Iceberg, Trino, Airflow)

">

- Proven expertise in data wrangling and developing data visualizations & reporting with toolings such as Tableau, Superset etc.

">

Salary

">

The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. You'll also receive benefits including comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and reimbursement for certain educational expenses related to advancing your career at Apple.
