As a Medical Surgical Nurse at CHI St. Joseph's Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support the needs of patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift, utilizing your knowledge and skills to educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits.
- Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation.
- Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals, including social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state of Minnesota (MN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required by the American Heart Association.
