We are seeking a skilled Nurse Educator to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent. As a Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate educational needs and competencies of nursing staff
- Develop and implement educational plans and programs to meet the needs of nursing staff
- Collaborate with leaders and staff to design and deliver educational programs
- Utilize methods and tools to evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs
- Consult on the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Nursing Professional Development programs
- BLS Provider certification
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Indiana Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
- Preferred: BSN or MSN degree, 3+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Labor and Delivery Recovery Postpartum or Mother Baby departments, previous teaching or precepting experience
