Solar Construction Manager II

Job Summary:

As a Senior Construction Manager for Renewable Energy Projects, you will be responsible for directing, planning, and managing construction activities on job sites with activities to be completed within assigned schedules and budgets, and in compliance with Company safety and procedural policies. This role will involve supervising construction workers and foremen, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, and ensuring that projects are completed by deadline dates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
• Supervise construction workers and foremen
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Ensure that projects are completed by deadline dates
• Monitor and maintain all required paperwork for entire jobs
• Make key decisions in a well-thought-out manner
• Ensure schedules are maintained accurately to measure time, production to meet timelines and requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Five years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating, and construction management
• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• Ability to organize, instruct, and supervise a construction crew in all facets of construction
• Ability to estimate
• Considerable knowledge of all construction tools, machinery methods, and procedures
• Must be able to forecast and monitor costs of projects
• Understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading
• Ability to demonstrate leadership, motivate workers, and communicate with both workers and superiors
