Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Registered Nurse with Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services, you will be responsible for delivering quality nursing care to our patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality nursing care: Follow physician orders, state and federal regulations, and facility policies to ensure the highest level of care.
  • Medication administration: Administer medications as ordered by physicians and in accordance with facility policies.
  • Nursing leadership: Supervise and guide nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Collaboration with physicians: Assist physicians with rounds and examinations as needed.
  • Treatment administration: Perform scheduled treatments and document accurately, maintaining infection control measures.
  • Infection control: Adhere to all regulations related to cleanliness, infection control, and standard/universal precautions.
  • Research and development: Participate in research related to quality nursing care as assigned.
  • New admissions: Assist with records, orders, and assessments of new admissions units/halls, and schedule annual physicals with attending physicians.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Licensure: Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with proof of renewal every two years.
  • CPR certification: Maintain CPR certification annually.
  • Leadership and teamwork: Demonstrate ability to supervise nursing assistants, ensuring timely completion of work assignments, and exhibit dependability, flexibility, and excellent communication skills when working with nursing personnel, other departments, and patients.
  • Decision-making: Make informed decisions regarding nursing problems, acknowledging potential consequences for patients.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
