Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our inpatient team at ECHN. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in evaluating and treating patients to improve or restore function.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and establish individualized goals for each patient.
- Conduct and modify evaluations based on patient symptoms, activity level, and medical status.
- Treat patients with therapeutic exercises, physical agents, and manual techniques to relieve pain and attain established goals.
- Document patient care in accordance with insurance guidelines and department policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S.
- Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
- Reliable transportation to travel between work sites.
