Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Good Samaritan Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate nurse to make a meaningful contribution to our organization and further their career goals.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate advanced cognitive and psychomotor capabilities in assessing, treating, and evaluating human responses to health problems.
  • Function autonomously and collaborate with other healthcare providers as a practitioner, educator, consultant, clinical leader, and researcher.
  • Develop, execute, evaluate, and supervise individual and project action plans to improve patient care outcomes.
  • Create policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and clinical staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Masters degree in nursing required.
  • Current California RN license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current NRP Provider Course Certification.
  • California Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification required.
  • Three to five years of acute care neonatal experience with a solid grasp of hemodynamics required.
  • Three years prior work experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist preferred.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $162,240 - $243,360 per year, based on factors such as specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in similar roles.
