Job Overview

The Project Engineer position at TP Mechanical Contractors offers an exciting opportunity to oversee entire projects from start to finish, working closely with various departments to ensure timely and profitable completion.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the project manager in ensuring proper timelines and requirements are met, reviewing job costs and status reports, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

This is a unique chance to develop relationships both within and outside the company that promote TP Mechanical and the Project Management Department in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist project manager in ensuring timely completion of projects, including billing, change orders, and collections.
  • Review job cost, job status, manpower, and change order reports to provide analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Communicate and troubleshoot with project manager, project superintendents, construction managers, and General Contractors.
  • Coordinate proper manpower and equipment for each job.
  • Conduct weekly job-site visits and attend job meetings.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year mechanical experience and/or related educational background.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Knowledge of general plumbing and piping installation.
  • Good math ability.
  • Good basic computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • General accounting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between $65,000 and $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
