Your Contributions to the Team:
  • Assist in crafting and executing strategic communication plans that align with the objectives of the Moving I-4 Forward program.
  • Oversee the creation and dissemination of internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, public service announcements, and social media content.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with various disciplines to ensure communication strategies are in sync with program goals.
  • Coordinate and manage special events such as public meetings and project tours.
  • Design and oversee the production of diverse communication materials, including brochures, presentations, and project displays.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies through metrics and stakeholder feedback.
  • Engage with vendors and partners for the production of communication materials.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience in public relations and outreach.
  • Strong understanding of public relations techniques and media engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with the community and various stakeholders.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply communication policies and brand standards.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in standard office software.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable.
  • Ability to respond promptly to organizational needs.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and a strong work ethic.
