Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver food and food-related products to customers.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety of the vehicle and cargo.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, and transport items into designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required, and load customer returns onto the trailer.
  • Ensure that the tractor, trailer, and freight are properly locked and secured.

Requirements:

  • 6 months commercial driving experience.
  • Valid CDL A.
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test.
  • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
