This residency program is designed for new graduates with less than 12 months of RN experience, who are eager to take on challenges and make a meaningful impact. As a participant, you will engage in lectures, simulation, case studies, online modules, and clinical experience with designated preceptors. Throughout the first year, you will receive ongoing support and training through continued education and mentorship.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong work ethic, basic computer skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. While previous patient care experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. New Graduate RN Residents must complete one year of experience and meet the program requirements to be considered RN I.

The responsibilities of this position include providing direct patient care in various specialty areas, such as acute care, critical care division, NICU, labor & delivery, perinatal, oncology, surgical services, emergency department, psychiatric research institute, cardiac catheterization lab. You will be required to stand frequently, sit occasionally, walk frequently, bend, crawl, crouch, kneel, stoop or reach overhead occasionally, lift and carry weight over 100 lbs, push and pull weight over 100 lbs, use hands to touch, handle or feel frequently, talk frequently, hear continuously, taste or smell occasionally, read, concentrate, and think analytically continuously.
