About the RoleAs a Neuro-Occupational Therapist, you'll work closely with patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping patients regain independence and functionality in their daily lives.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat impairments related to upper extremity function, ADLs, IADLs, visual and perceptual skills, cognitive needs, and adaptive equipment needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and state licensure.
- Professional certification or a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred.
- Experience in treating neurologically related disorders is highly valued.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
