Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wound Care Specialist to join our team at Woundology. As a Wound Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with acute or chronic wounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough assessments of patients' wounds, including measurement, staging, and documentation
  • Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on patients' specific needs and medical history
  • Administer wound care treatments such as dressing changes, debridement, and application of topical medications
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Valid nursing license in the state of Ohio
  • Proven experience as a Wound Care Nurse or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of wound assessment, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices
  • Proficiency in performing procedures such as IV insertion, dermal fillers, neonatal ventilator management, spinal tap, etc.
