Role and Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will take charge of the planning, execution, and successful delivery of our software development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proficient in agile methodologies, possess exceptional communication abilities, and have a solid background in managing tech projects, particularly within Ecommerce and marketplace settings.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  1. Project Oversight: Lead software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  2. Agile Practices: Implement agile methodologies in project management, including sprint planning, backlog management, and conducting daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
  3. Comprehensive Planning: Create detailed project plans encompassing scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
  4. User Story Creation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate project progress, updates, and potential risks to stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executives, product owners, developers, and QA teams.
  6. Vendor Coordination: Work with third-party vendors to ensure smooth integration of external systems and services into our platforms.
  7. Ecommerce Expertise: Utilize knowledge of Ecommerce platforms and marketplaces to identify unique business needs, challenges, and opportunities, adapting project strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of project management experience, ideally in the technology sector.
  • Demonstrated experience managing software development projects using agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and collaborating with third-party integrators.
  • Familiarity with Ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay).
