Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of laboratory tasks, including managing mouse colonies, performing tissue dissections, conducting molecular cloning, executing immunohistochemistry, and analyzing data. Additional duties will encompass general laboratory operations, maintaining the mouse colony, conducting experiments, data analysis, and experimental design under supervision.
- 5% General laboratory tasks such as preparing reagents and restocking supplies
- 15% Managing and breeding mouse colonies for experimental purposes
- 50% Conducting experiments and imaging procedures
- 15% Analyzing data and preparing it for presentations
- 15% Reviewing literature and planning experiments
Required Qualifications:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate should excel in multitasking and possess strong communication skills.
Research Lab Tech Associate: An Associate's Degree is required with 0-1 year of experience (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
Research Lab Tech Intermediate: An Associate's Degree is required with 1-3 years of experience (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology or a related field with relevant laboratory research experience
- Proficiency in various techniques including mouse husbandry, PCR, gel electrophoresis, tissue culture, molecular cloning, imaging methods, and data analysis
Underfill Notice:
Depending on the qualifications of the candidate, this position may be filled at a lower level.
Background Check:
