Job Summary:

UNFI is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Selector to join our team at our Ridgefield Distribution Center. As a Warehouse Order Selector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate selection and processing of orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and process orders with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Palletize, shrink wrap, and place orders in assigned locations
  • Report adjustments to inventory counts, spoilage, or damaged stock
  • Notify supervisors of any location changes and supply shortages
  • Transport products throughout the warehouse using an electric pallet jack
  • Maintain order selection performance standards of speed and accuracy with minimum damage and maximum safety
  • Assist other department personnel during peak workloads or absences

Requirements:

  • At least six months of experience in a large distribution center
  • Experience with a double electric pallet jack preferred
  • Ability to safely lift up to 75lbs continuously throughout the shift
  • Ability to pick products with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening

What We Offer:

  • Competitive wages: $22.25 an hour starting pay, plus $2/hour for weekend shifts, $2/hour for working in the freezer, and up to $2.50/hour for production averages
  • First-year pay up to $27 possible through weekend, overnight, and production incentives
  • Weekly pay on Fridays

  • Paid time off - accrual begins after 90 days of employment
