Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified finance associate with a background of 4-6 years in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with administrative agents, lenders, and borrowers in various financial structures, including:

  • Club and broadly syndicated credit facilities
  • Acquisition financings
  • Private credit facilities

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in:

  • Negotiating and drafting credit agreements
  • Creating debt commitment letters
  • Formulating term sheets
  • Drafting security agreements and closing deliverables, such as secretary's certificates, resolutions, legal opinions, schedules, and exhibits
Qualifications

Experience in representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies is advantageous. Candidates should exhibit diligence, proactivity, and a collaborative spirit, along with a strong academic foundation and exceptional drafting capabilities. A willingness to assume significant responsibilities related to deal management and client interactions is essential.

Admission to one or more state bars is mandatory, with prior admission to the Texas bar being a plus.
