Overview
Waukee Clive Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time credentialed veterinary technician to provide exceptional patient care and support to our team.
Hospital Location:
Our clinic is located in Clive, Iowa, and we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Hospital Hours:
We operate Monday through Friday, 7am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday, with a focus on providing excellent care to our patients.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $22-26, with increases based on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including 80 hours of PTO, customized learning opportunities, and 24 hours of CE PTO.
Benefits:
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with a 4% company match, and access to a range of additional insurances, including life, short-term disability, and critical illness insurance.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care under the supervision of a DVM, maintaining accurate medical records, and communicating effectively with clients.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated veterinary technician with a strong background in laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, dental, and nursing skills.
Physical Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb, as well as manipulate up to 50 pounds and over 50 pounds with a coworker.
Travel:
Minimal travel is required, possibly for vendor visits and associate education.
