Job Summary:

The Village Lead is a key role that oversees the conference rooms and works with the Village bars and Frites in a supervisory capacity. This position requires experience in both front and back-of-house operations and a strong commitment to high service standards. The successful candidate will assist the General Manager as needed and contribute to the overall goals and vision of the Northstar Mountain Dining team.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the conference rooms, ensuring efficient and professional service.
  • Lead and manage a team of banquet staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate all aspects of banquet events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage services meet the company's quality standards.
  • Train and mentor banquet staff in service techniques, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during events promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
Requirements:
  • Two years minimum related experience in a supervisory position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs or more), walk and stand for long periods of time, and perform strenuous physical labor in inclement weather conditions.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Flexible working hours, including holidays and weekends.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure/high volume and solve customer problems or issues.
  • Good organization and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, guests, and customers to provide excellent service.
