Framing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Framing Specialist to join our team at Michaels. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, creating memorable framing solutions, and maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.

• Customer Service: Provide a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment for customers, and deliver friendly and personalized service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Framing Solutions: Create custom framing solutions that meet customers' needs and exceed their expectations, while adhering to company standards and procedures.
• Visual Merchandising: Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment, to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store environment.
• Operations: Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes, operate cash registers, and execute cash handling to company standards.
• Teamwork: Interact with colleagues in an accepting and respectful manner, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

• Basic Computer Skills: Ability to operate a cash register and use basic computer software.
• Measuring Skills: Ability to measure and cut frames to meet customers' needs.
• Physical Demands: Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching; ability to move throughout the store and remain standing for long periods of time.

• Retail Experience: Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a framing or visual merchandising role.
• Sales Experience: Ability to sell products and services to customers, and meet sales and production targets.
