Data Analysis Lead SAS Programmer

About the Role:This senior-level position seeks to leverage extensive programming expertise in SAS and statistical analysis to drive data insights and inform business decisions.
Main Responsibilities:- Data Analysis: Develop and implement complex data analyses using SAS/Base, including macros, arrays, formats, and ODS, to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within clinical trial data.
- Statistical Planning: Design, develop, and execute statistical analysis plans using SAS/STAT and SAS/GRAPH to support regulatory submissions and business objectives.
- Clinical Trial Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to consult on clinical trial design, protocols, and case report forms, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancements and implement changes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of data analysis outputs.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 9+ years of experience in data analysis and programming with SAS
- Expert knowledge of computer systems, applications, and operating systems
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
You will need to possess:
- Proficiency in SAS/Base, including macros, arrays, formats, and ODS
- Expertise in SAS/STAT and SAS/GRAPH
- Familiarity with basic statistical principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of CDISC standards and drug development principles
