About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BH/DID Program Manager to join our team in the Substance Use Treatment and Recovery Services Branch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading substance use treatment and recovery services programs, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of staff and programs in the Adult Substance Use Treatment and Recovery Services Branch.
  • Direct work assignments, projects, and job responsibilities to assigned staff, sign timesheets, complete performance reviews, provide ongoing coaching, and support professional development among staff.
  • Monitor and assist in the implementation of programs, projects, and evidence-based practices supported by the branch, ensuring appropriate and timely actions adhere to state and departmental policies.
  • Provide technical assistance to branch, department, state, and community-based partners, responding to constituent, provider, and partner questions and requests, and recommending policy goals, objectives, progress, and changes for the benefit of program development and implementation.
  • Attend meetings with other state agencies, community partners, and the public to advance programs and collaboration, serving on internal and external workgroups and steering committees as needed, and representing the department at regional and national meetings.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Five years of professional experience in the administration or management of institutional activities, BHDID Central Office, community, or agency programs.
  • A master's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, nursing, health administration, or public or business administration will substitute for one year of the required experience.
