As a Software Test Engineer at Hexaware Technologies, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our clients' applications. You will be responsible for creating an overall automation strategy for the application under test, supporting the application team in their continuous delivery efforts, and participating in code review meetings. Your expertise will be invaluable in analyzing and communicating test results and defect resolution tasks, as well as staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. You will also influence stakeholders to adopt automation practices, making the software development processes more efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
Creates an overall automation strategy for the application under test
Supports the application team in their continuous delivery efforts
Participates in code review meetings
Analyzes and communicates test results and defect resolution tasks
Stays up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Influences stakeholders to adopt automation practices

Requirements:
6+ years of proven experience in Java, Selenium, BDD & TDD, Cucumber, Gherkin, and CI/CD tools
Strong knowledge and proven experience in API automation, experience with REST assured or Karate
Strong knowledge in Databases like DB2, Mongo DB, or Snowflake
Experience in writing SQL queries
Strong communication skills with ability to work with all management levels

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred experience in File handling in Java
Good knowledge or experience in Cypress
Preferably certified in AWS
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
