Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Quality Manager to oversee the quality and compliance of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification and a proven track record of successful project delivery. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Construction Quality Management Plan (CQMP) to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and assessments of construction processes and completed work to identify and address quality issues.

• Ensure all construction activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, codes, and permits, and maintain accurate records of quality inspections, audits, and reports.

• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that all materials, equipment, and workmanship meet required quality standards, and conduct site visits and inspections to monitor and verify the quality of subcontractor work.

• Develop and oversee testing plans for materials and equipment used in construction, ensuring they meet required standards, and lead inspections at key project milestones.

• Identify non-conformance issues and implement corrective action plans to address quality deficiencies, and work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to mitigate risks and prevent quality issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in construction quality management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery, and Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification required.

• Strong knowledge of construction standards, codes, and best practices, and experience with quality control processes on federal or large-scale construction projects.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and quality control tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with military or government construction projects, and familiarity with LEED standards and sustainable construction practices.

• Experience working in both commercial and industrial construction environments, and a salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 per year.
