Job Summary

The Humanities Division at Kentucky Community and Technical College System is seeking qualified candidates to teach Hybrid, Online, or on-campus sections of Music at multiple campuses. As a Music Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching courses, maintaining office hours for mentoring and coaching students, and utilizing a learning management system for communication and feedback.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Music courses in a Hybrid, Online, or on-campus setting
  • Maintain office hours for student mentoring and coaching
  • Utilize a learning management system for communication and feedback
  • Meet with students once or twice a week, depending on class mode
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Music or a related field
  • Eighteen graduate hours in the teaching discipline
  • Experience with intersectional, inclusive instruction and diverse perspectives
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment

  • Experience with teaching and student engagement
  • Ability to incorporate diverse perspectives into teaching
