WEALTH STRATEGIST

Major Responsibilities:

  • Promotes banking products and services to individuals, with a focus on trust solutions.

  • Builds relationships with existing clients and cultivates new business opportunities through personal and professional networks.

  • Analyzes potential clients' financial situations to tailor services that meet their needs.

  • Drafts correspondence to prospective clients and follows up with calls to schedule consultations.

  • Delivers presentations on banking products to potential clients or their representatives (e.g., attorneys, CPAs).

  • Addresses inquiries, collaborating with bank partners for additional product/service insights as needed.

  • Advises clients and their legal representatives on estate planning products and services, evaluating assets to propose alternatives.

  • Consults with clients and their advisors to establish effective estate tax strategies, leveraging knowledge of relevant tax laws.

  • Summarizes account holdings to assess eligibility and tax implications.

  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of a variety of trust-related services, including personal trusts, living trusts, wills, investment management, and estate planning.

  • Initiates and manages requests for banking services, coordinating with operational teams as necessary.

  • Develops insights into individual client circumstances to enhance product offerings.

  • Maintains regular communication with clients, acting as a liaison for various banking activities.

  • Identifies opportunities for relationship enhancement among existing clients by sharing relevant updates.

  • Sets personal sales objectives in collaboration with management, based on historical performance and product knowledge.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Expertise in fiduciary products and services, including fee structures and documentation, gained through relevant experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience in trust sales or relationship management.

  • Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding personal fiduciary and estate planning services.

  • Strong analytical and sales skills to connect customer asset situations with appropriate solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to understand client needs and respond effectively.

  • Required licenses: Series 7 and 63.
