Job Title: Travel Radiology Technician

FlexStaff is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team for a travel assignment in New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiology Technician to work with our team in New York. As a travel Radiology Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and equipment, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate x-ray equipment to obtain high-quality images, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Position patients correctly for radiographs, using immobilization and supportive devices as needed.
  • Monitor patients' conditions during exams, recognizing and reporting any abnormalities or concerns.
  • Process and maintain exposed images, labeling them correctly and maintaining required records.
  • Perform related duties as required, including operating equipment for transferring computed images to film and archival of disc memory to tape.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Radiology Technician.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a radiology department.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
