Job Summary

Focal Point Homecare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of client homes, including tasks such as vacuuming, washing dishes, and tidying.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Assist clients with planning appointments and organizing schedules, ensuring timely and efficient transportation arrangements.
  • Meal Preparation and Grocery Shopping: Plan and prepare meals that meet specific client dietary needs, and shop for groceries as required.
  • Client Engagement and Support: Encourage clients to engage in social networks and communities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
Requirements
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess sensitivity and compassion towards clients, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Ability to work with a diverse population of people, respecting individual needs and preferences.
  • Pet-Friendly Environment: Comfortable dealing with a variety of household pets, including dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, and other animals.
  • Age and Education: Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Transportation and Licensing: Valid driver's license and vehicle required.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English language.
