Job Summary

We are seeking Caregivers/Direct Support Professionals to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Assist individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and community resources.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • No high school diploma required.
  • No experience required.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts.
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
  • Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.
